Sites & publishing#
What happens if a site generation fails?#
You're not charged for failed runs. Whatever the run cost — 100 for a full site build, 20 for a site AI edit, and so on down to a 10-credit image — is refunded automatically, and the chat shows a "Generation failed" message. A run that stalls for more than 20 minutes is marked failed and refunded too. Just try again — see How credits work.
I clicked Republish but visitors still see the old version. Why?#
Publishing takes a snapshot of your draft, so edits stay private until you click Republish. Even then, the live page can take up to a minute to update because published pages are cached. Wait a minute, then refresh the page — details in Publishing your site.
Can I unpublish my site?#
Not currently — there's no unpublish button. Once published, your site stays live until you delete the site or the business, which takes its public address offline and detaches any custom domain. If you need a site taken down and don't want to delete it, email support.
Will my site show up on Google?#
It can. Nothing blocks search engines from your published site. Mr Create doesn't yet generate a sitemap or meta description, though, so discovery depends on Google finding and crawling your address — sharing your link around helps. The title shown in search results is the site name chosen during generation, and there's no field to edit it yet.
Why does my site show the Mr Create icon in the browser tab?#
Published sites don't yet include their own favicon, so browsers fall back to the Mr Create icon. There's currently no way to upload a favicon for your site.
Why doesn't my link show a preview image on social media?#
Published sites don't yet include social preview tags, so a shared link shows just the title and URL — no image or description. If a preview matters for a campaign, consider creating a matching image in Image Studio and attaching it to your post directly.
Can I choose or change my free subdomain?#
No. The subdomain is generated automatically from your business name plus a short random suffix, and there's no rename option. If you want a specific address, connect a custom domain instead.
Credits & billing#
What do I see when I run out of credits?#
Builds and AI edits stop with "You have run out of credits. Upgrade your plan to keep building." Upgrading to Plus or Pro adds monthly credits — see Plans & pricing. In a shared business you'll see "This business is out of credits. Ask the owner to upgrade or top up." — only the owner's plan matters there.
What costs credits, and what's free?#
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Full site build (new site or rebuild) | 100 |
| Targeted AI edit (chat message) | 20 |
| Annotation edit round (up to 20 notes) | 20 |
| Social post draft (caption + image) | 15 |
| Social post draft (text-only) | 5 |
| Document draft | 15 |
| AI-generated site image replacement | 10 |
| Studio image | 10 |
| Social image re-roll (per slide) | 10 |
| Document AI edit (chat message) | 5 |
| Direct edits (text and choosing or uploading site images), customers, publishing, business setup chat | 0 |
Every button that spends credits shows the price on it next to a sparkle icon. New accounts get 500 free credits, granted on your first action. More in How credits work.
Do unused credits expire?#
No. Unused credits roll over each month, and your remaining balance stays with you even if you cancel your subscription.
Can I buy extra credits without a subscription?#
Not currently. There's no one-time top-up — the way to add credits is a Plus (1,000 credits/month) or Pro (3,000 credits/month) subscription. See Plans & pricing.
Does each business get its own credits?#
No. Credits belong to your account, and one shared balance covers every business you own. A 100-credit site build in one business leaves fewer credits for the others.
Account & sign-in#
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?#
On the sign-in page, enter your email address and click Forgot password?. We'll send you a reset link — open it, choose a new password of at least 6 characters (entered twice), and click Set new password. That signs you straight back in.
If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder. For privacy, the "Check your inbox" message appears whether or not an account exists for that address, so double-check you entered the email you signed up with. And if your address is a Google account, Sign in with Google gets you in without a password at all.
I never received the confirmation email. What now?#
Check your spam folder and give it a few minutes. If it still hasn't arrived, go back to the sign-in page, switch to Sign up, and submit the form again with the same email and password — a fresh confirmation email is sent (limited to about one per minute). If your address is a Google account, Sign up with Google skips email confirmation entirely. Still stuck? Email support@mrcreate.co.
I clicked a link from an email and it said the link expired. What now?#
Confirmation and password-reset links only work once and expire after a while. An expired or already-used link brings you back to the sign-in page with a message saying so. If you were confirming a new account, try signing in with your email and password first — if it works, you were already confirmed; if you see "Email not confirmed", submit the Sign up form again for a fresh link. If you were resetting your password, enter your email and click Forgot password? again for a new reset email.
Can I change my password or email address after signing in?#
The settings Account tab doesn't include password or email changes yet, but you can change your password any time with the reset flow: sign out, then on the sign-in page enter your email and click Forgot password?. For an email address change, email support@mrcreate.co and we'll make it for you.
Team & invites#
Does Mr Create email the person I invite?#
Yes. After you click Send invite, Mr Create emails a secure invitation link to your teammate. Email sent means the mail provider accepted the message, not that it definitely reached the inbox, so ask them to check spam if it does not arrive. You can use Resend email from the Pending invites list, or Copy link and send it yourself by text or chat. If an email fails or its result is unconfirmed, use Try email again after the wait shown on the button; the existing invite link still works. The normal wait is one minute, but duplicate protection or email abuse limits may require a longer wait. They never disable Copy link. See Team & collaboration.
My invite link says it's invalid or expired. What do I do?#
Ask the business owner for a new one. Owners can revoke an invite from the Share dialog, then create and send a new link. Creating an invite for the same email after the old one expires replaces it.
I opened an invite but there's no Accept button. Why?#
You're probably signed in with a different email address than the one invited. Invites can only be accepted by the exact address they were created for — click Switch account, then sign in with the invited email.
What happens to teammates if I downgrade or cancel?#
Mr Create pauses access instead of removing teammates. Free pauses everyone; Plus keeps the five longest-standing members active in each business; and Pro activates everyone. Paused members remain in People with access and automatically regain access when a seat opens or you return to a plan with room. Their saved permissions do not change. See Team & collaboration.
Inviting collaborators requires a paid plan: Plus includes up to 5 collaborators per business, Pro has no limit. Collaborators' work always spends the owner's credit balance.
