Business profile

The About tab — the details that teach the AI what your business is.

The About tab holds your business profile — the name, story, and contact details that describe what your business does and who it's for. Mr Create reads this profile every time it generates something for you, so a few minutes spent filling it in pays off across every tab.

Only the business owner can edit the profile. On a shared business, teammates can read it but not change it — see Team & collaboration.

What the profile includes#

Click About in your workspace sidebar. The form is grouped into three sections:

  • Brand — your logo, plus Name, Tagline ("One short sentence that captures your brand"), Description ("What does this business do? Who is it for?"), and Mission.
  • DetailsIndustry (e.g. "Coffee shop, Yoga studio"), Founded year, and Hours.
  • ContactEmail, Phone, Website, and Address.

Only the name is required; everything else is optional.

How the profile shapes AI results#

Every filled-in field is passed to the AI when you generate a site, edit it with AI, draft social posts, or create documents. Empty fields are simply left out — the AI won't guess at them.

That means the description, mission, hours, and contact details you write here can show up, accurately, in your website copy and captions. The more complete the profile, the less you'll need to fix afterwards.

Editing and saving#

As soon as you change anything, a floating bar appears at the bottom of the page with Reset and Save buttons. Click Save to keep your changes or Reset to discard them. Renaming the business here updates its name everywhere — including the sidebar and the business switcher — right away. Editing the profile is free and doesn't use credits.

Your logo comes from images you've made in Image Studio — there's no direct file upload on this tab.

  1. In the Brand section, click the logo square or Choose from assets.
  2. In the "Choose a logo" dialog, click an image to select it — images tagged as logos appear first.
  3. Click Save on the floating bar to keep it.

To clear the logo, click Remove in the dialog instead. If the dialog is empty, generate some images in Studio first and they'll appear here.

Deleting a business#

At the bottom of the About tab, the Delete business section permanently removes the business and everything in it — sites, generated images and assets, documents, social posts, and customers. Any published site goes offline, and any custom domain stops working.

  1. Click Delete business.
  2. In the confirmation dialog, type the business name where prompted.
  3. Click Delete business to confirm.

If a website, email, document, social post, or image is still being generated or uploaded, wait for it to finish (or fail and return its credits) before deleting the business.

Warning

Deleting a business cannot be undone. If you only want a fresh website, rebuild the site instead — see Generating a site.

Next steps#

With your profile filled in, generate your site or head over to social posts — both pick up your details automatically.
